Effective leadership requires humility and vulnerability

Leading people successfully requires real connection, and real connection requires humility and vulnerability. This type of leadership is not what is modelled in most cultures, for most of the world's history, but it is the servant leader type leadership that Jesus Christ modelled; contrary to the world's way, but always proves to be the most effective form of leadership.
